Bob and Liz Johnson, South Florida
The Shyne Foundation provided much of the original inspiration for this website and the NaturalBird List.
The Shyne Foundation is a non-profit parrot sanctuary for over 150 parrots. Bob and Liz Johnson have created a ¼ acre enclosed mini rainforest so that the parrots live as closely as possible to the way nature intended them to live.

Carole Wood had a second story deck with a wonderful view. In 2004 she constructed two outdoor cages that would fit on her deck, so that her umbrella cockatoo and african grey could have more outdoor time.
